Here's what our Clients Say:
Places the proper emphasis on recognizing and reacting to dangers
I am impressed by the professionalism and commitment Robin Webb clearly has invested in this program. The program itself appears to place the proper emphasis on recognizing and reacting to the dangers that are a part of every child's contemporary world. Robin is presenting practical, viable responses to situations which every child can apply..
R.E. Moulton, Insp., Royal Canadian Mounted Police

A deep concern for child safety As a principal I have been most impressed with Mr. Webb and his associates who display a deep concern for child safety and strong commitment to the program. When one considers the alarming increase of child abuse, the KEYEYE program can be recommended as a positive alternative that gives children protection against possible attackers and molesters.
P.M. Bion, Principal John Maclure Elementary

Very professional and well presented The program gave many excellent examples of situations that could result in harm to a child. By playing out the situations, children are able to see that danger could be within their own neighborhoods, homes, or playgrounds. The actors were "nice" looking, which is a concept that is often difficult for children to comprehend. They want to think that all bad people look bad... the tape is very professional and well presented. By helping to give children needed confidence, it would be a tape that our department would recommend to the community.
Terence J. Mangan, Chief of Police, Spokane Police Department

Leaves other programs in the dark ages I have attended five self-defense seminars over the last three years, and Hands Off, as it was presented, left all the other systems in the
dark ages.

Could be the most valuable and productive few hours of one's life
In this society that we live in, which is sadly becoming increasingly more dangerous and violent, your Hands Off training could well represent the most valuable and productive few hours of one's life...Thanks again, and may this invaluable training continue to touch the lives of more people.

Sensible, simple strategies The print and video material and demonstrations were valuable, offering sensible, simple strategies with which participants could actually feel some immediate confidence. I would personally recommend this program to others.

An excellent opportunity to learn about personal safety On behalf of the Toronto Real Estate Board and the Education Department, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for supporting the “Personal Safety” seminar that was presented at the Board offices. The seminar was very well received and Members commented that it was an excellent opportunity to learn about personal safety.

Most worthwhile...
As you are aware, several of the Board’s Geographical Divisions have now held a 'Hands Off' Seminar. While I have not been involved in the seminars presented for the various Divisions of the Board, I did participate in one sponsored by the Board for its female staff members, and found the session to be most worth while in teaching a variety of self-defense techniques, together with a great deal of general know-how on the subject.

Should be a mandatory course ...
On behalf of the Police Week event and myself, I wish to extend our appreciation for coming to the event and demonstrating some personal safety tips for women. I myself was absolutely amazed at some of the techniques that were demonstrated and after seeing it felt very strongly that it should be a mandatory course for all women.

Both Rob and Judy are excellent presenters...
...who have assisted staff in problem solving and providing us with the skills to practice the techniques as a group throughout the year. We feel this program has been most beneficial and would recommend anyone working in a similar environment of this valuable resource.

It was very obvious that the instructors had studied intermediate care...
... and knew specifically the commonplace situations which staff cope with. It was also obvious that the instructors were aware of the frail nature of our intermediate care clients, and the interventions we were taught took both client and care giver safety into account. The teachings included an emphasis on verbal de-escalation before physical approaches, and also included reminders, that, even when a physical intervention has become necessary, it remains important to maintain the resident’s self-esteem and feelings of autonomy. I recommend this course to anyone working with a frail, elderly, intermediate care population.
